Baggrund

ROEQ develops and produces advanced robotic equipment (Mobile Robotic Equipment – ​​MRE) that extends the functionality of autonomous mobile robots (AMR) in modern logistics and production environments.
To ensure stable and intelligent communication between robot, equipment and cloud, ROEQ uses the industrial gateway Compulab IoT-GATE-iMX8, which is a compact, fanless Linux-based device that functions as a control and data center directly on the robot.

Application

The IoT-GATE-iMX8 handles real-time control and monitoring of both robots and equipment, while the powerful i.MX8M-Mini processor enables local data processing for fast and stable operation.
The gateway supports both wired and wireless connections such as LTE, Wi-Fi and CAN-FD and is built in a robust, fanless aluminum design for industrial environments.
With Linux and Docker support, it provides a secure and flexible platform for modern, automated solutions.
