JHCTECH KGEC-6500 – Industrial Edge Controller with PCIe Expansion

The JHCTECH KGEC-6500 is a high-performance industrial Edge Controller based on the Intel® Comet Lake-S platform with H420E chipset. The system is designed for industrial automation, CNC, robotics and other applications requiring high processing performance, real-time Ethernet and flexible expansion options.
The platform supports Intel® Comet Lake-S processors with up to 10 cores and 65 W TDP, together with up to 64 GB DDR4 RAM via dual-channel SODIMM.
KGEC-6500 is equipped with 2× LAN, including an Intel® I226V network controller supporting real-time industrial Ethernet protocols such as EtherCAT. This makes the system well suited for motion control, production equipment and automation applications requiring deterministic network communication.
A key feature is the integrated PCIe x4 expansion slot, which can be used for PoE network cards, motion control cards or other industrial PCIe expansion cards. The modular design makes it possible to adapt the platform to different automation and Edge Computing applications.
The system also provides HDMI and DVI-I for dual display, 4× USB 3.2, 3× USB 2.0 and 2× COM ports for integration with industrial equipment.
KGEC-6500 supports 12–24 V DC input with protection against reverse polarity, overcurrent and overvoltage. The platform can be installed using wall mounting, desktop mounting or DIN-rail mounting, providing flexible installation in both machinery and control cabinets.
