JHCTECH KMDA-2630-S – Fanless Edge Computer with 4× LAN and Intel® Elkhart Lake

The JHCTECH KMDA-2630-S is a compact and rugged fanless Edge Computer based on the Intel® Elkhart Lake Celeron® platform. The system combines low power consumption with flexible industrial connectivity and is well suited for Machine Vision, industrial automation, AGV/AMR, IoT, data acquisition and Edge Computing applications.

A key strength of the KMDA-2630-S is its 4× Ethernet ports, including 2× 2.5GbE, making the platform suitable for installations with multiple networks, cameras or other Ethernet-based industrial equipment.

The system supports DDR4 memory together with both mSATA and 2.5" SATA storage. HDMI and VGA provide support for dual-display configurations.

For industrial integration, the KMDA-2630-S offers 4× COM ports, including 2× RS232 and 2× RS232/422/485, as well as 8-bit digital I/O. It also provides 2× USB 3.1 Gen 2 with speeds up to 10 Gb/s and 6× USB 2.0.

The system is supplied with 12 V DC as standard and can optionally be configured with wide-range 9–36 V DC input. The fanless aluminium chassis provides passive cooling without moving parts and is designed for reliable 24/7 operation in industrial environments.

KMDA-2630-T Variant

The KMDA-2630-T is based on the same Intel® Elkhart Lake platform and provides many of the same industrial functions in a more compact configuration.

The T variant features 2× 2.5GbE instead of the four Ethernet ports available on the KMDA-2630-S and also provides fewer USB ports. It retains 4× COM, 8-bit DIO, HDMI, VGA, mSATA and 2.5" SATA support.

The KMDA-2630-T is therefore well suited for installations requiring the same industrial platform and serial connectivity, but without the additional LAN and USB interfaces of the KMDA-2630-S.

The KMDA-2630-S and KMDA-2630-T are well suited for industrial Edge applications where compact design, multiple network connections and flexible industrial interfaces are required in a robust fanless platform.
